About The Dominican Life Style My Dominican Tropical Homestead |
|
Dominican Lifestyle Well this is my fish pond for now. It is a 12 by 3 foot pool. The dogs decided to try to eat the inflatable ring but it is of no consequence for now. If I were really doing this system to peak I could be pulling 100 pounds of fish a week out of here but I am playing for now. It is under a Mango tree growing up in the neighbors yard providing shade.
I have at this point Tilapia in my pond. They are fish I got out of the river and as far as I can tell they are Mozambique Tilapia. I have some native catfish for now to keep the numbers down, When I get onto my farm I want to use fresh water lobster. For now I am taking what I have learned and build a nice robust system. My goal is 1000 pound a week capacity for my fish on my Dominican Tropical Homestead.
